After graduation, my plan for then is to go on summer vacation, out of country and enjoy my time there before going back to school. I have my eyes set on going to college for farther education and I'll be staying on island till I change my mind. I am going to UHMC, Maui community college, just to do my prerecord classes before deciding my major, like Math, English or Science. Despite wanting to go into nursing, I'm not sure that will be something I will stick to, I have so many things I want to do it is hard to stick to one, like helping people or researching.
What makes me ready?
The skills I've learn from Kihei Charter, like communicating with teachers, asking about what would be the best course of actions for me right out of school, either going straight into the working field or going to college to study and get a college degree, the teachers all encourage you to pick something you are willing to learn more about. Classes taught about what kind of college you show choose relating to what you want to learn and how to think about budget. I'm ready because I have faith in myself to be able to figure myself out, to be able to sort through all the different working fields to find my passion. Plus, you don't have to know what you want right away, all you need to know is what your passion is and could you make it into something that would make you grow as a person. My passion to not stick to one thing will get me to different working environment, wanting to work outdoor to wanting to create pieces of lasting art, all that is something I know I can and would love to do in my life, I will not let myself be held down by my fears.
